Facts and figures about the company history

Already at the age of 15, Fritz and Klaus Limbächer (the
current managing director of L&L) already owned five
different mopeds, by the age of 16 there were already ten different
80s. At 18, in addition to school and university, the business registration took place
as a sole proprietorship for the used motorcycle and car trade.

1989 Foundation of the two individual companies by Fritz and Klaus Limbächer

In 1992 , the two individual companies of Fritz and
Klaus Limbächer merged to form a GmbH: The new

Bicycles from Taiwan and their distribution under the brand Imprex

1994 Foundation of the Bike Shop Echterdingen;

1996 Authorized dealer status for Ducati,
Cagiva (later MV Agusta), Husqvarna and Moto Guzzi. Clothing shop
becomes a Motoport partner. Sales in 1996: 8.4 million DM with 19 employees.

In 1999, over 1,000 motorcycles were sold per year for the first time. Sales 11.2 million DM

2002 In
March, move to the new company building in Filderstadt, addition of
Kawasaki as a contract brand. Concentration on the sale of new and

2011 Introduction of the Limbächer &
Limbächer Custom Bikes - LLC. Custom-made bikes

2011 Introduction of Limbächer-Classic as
independent area. Limbächer as a competent partner for the

2016 The team continued to grow and together over 3,600 motorcycles were sold.

2017 The anniversary year: 25 years
Limbächer & Limbächer GmbH. The company area is 15,000 sqm

2018 Integration of the
Speer Motorrad in Reutlingen under the sister company
